Whipped Cream Cheese Feta Dip with Spicy Honey

Ingredients
  

  • 6 oz feta cheese crumbled
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 fresh garlic clove minced or grated
  • 1/4 cup honey for spicy honey drizzle
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes adjust to spice preference
  • 1/8 tsp salt optional, to taste
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper optional, to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a food processor or high-powered blender, combine feta cheese, cream cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, honey, and minced garlic.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper as desired.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine 1/4 cup honey and red pepper flakes to make the spicy honey. Mix until evenly combined.
  • Transfer the whipped cream cheese feta dip to a serving bowl and drizzle the spicy honey on top.
  • Serve immediately with pita chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables for dipping.

Notes

You can prepare the dip up to a day in advance and refrigerate it. Drizzle the spicy honey just before serving. For extra flavor, add a garnish of fresh herbs such as chopped dill or parsley.
